The Lineal Company is qualified to manage and plan the most demanding infrastructural projects in the following fields:

The company was established in 1990. Throughout its development, we continuously invested into the most sophisticated information and technological solutions. Today, we have at our disposal the most advanced spatial and information infrastructure for planning. Planning is done on the basis of state-of-the art licensed software. There are 29 experts employed – two Masters of Science, 8 engineers and two lawyers. Lineal, d. o. o. distinguishes itself on business growth, and the growth of high-quality service, staff and expertise. In 1999, our business growth and success led to the title "Gazela" (Gazelle) in the field of services. Our experience and professional capacities enable us to perform services for the most demanding clients, such as Ministries, Directorates, government offices, and reputable companies at home and abroad. We have capital ties with the following companies: Urbis, Geomatik and Infra (in Bosnia and Herzegovina). To meet the demands of larger projects, we co-operate with reputable design and engineering companies at home and abroad. Based on references at home, we were also able to expand our business operations to foreign markets, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Successful Road Engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina...
On behalf of the public enterprise Road Directorate of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina a case study of various options and evaluation of a 65 km long highway between Orašlje (the river of Sava) and Tuzla (Šićki Brod) has been carried out by the company Lineal d.o.o. in a consortium with RGGF Tuzla, Gradis biro za projektiranje and IRGO consulting d.o.o.
The foreseen new highway section is supposed to run through the so-called Tuzla basin, which is the most developed area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the last half of the century the increase in production capacity led to an intensive development of traffic in the area, including the infrastructure for road as well as rail transport. The current traffic infrastructure, mainly the road network, is out-of-date and disables further development of the area. The A-roads M1.8 Orašje–Šićki Brod (Tuzla) and M18 Šićki Brod (Tuzla)–Živinice–Kladanj–Olovo–Sarajevo are of important international significance, as they present the main connection between the most industrially developed part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe.

During the next phase, the draft project of the highway, its road section and deviations of the chosen option will be carried out by the company of Lineal d.o.o. and its partners Saraj inženjering d.o.o and Provia d.o.o. The chosen option has been divided into five sections (the so-called LOTs). The draft project of LOT 1 has already been confirmed by the audit committee; LOT 2 has been checked by the committee and is now in the phase of modification. Other sections, i. e. LOTs 3 to 5 are in the process of audit at the moment.

Draft Project of the A-Road M-18 Tuzla–Sarajevo Reconstruction Completed
The draft project of the A-road M-18 Tuzla–Sarajevo reconstruction has been in cooperation with the Roughton International Great Britain. The contract giver of the file is European Union in the frame of REBIS Core Network programme and the beneficiary is Road Directorate of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The draft project describes the reconstruction of the existing M-18 road which was built more than 45 years ago. The existing road is characterized by technical elements of low quality, which allow only low driving speeds. At certain road sections the speed limit is set between 35 and 45km/h (i.e. approximately between 22 and 28 mph). In the beginning, a draft solution was prepared for the whole length of the road, i. e. approximately 108 km. Later on, the draft project was carried out for 86.5 km of the road. It contains road reconstruction for speed limits of 60 to 80 km/h (i.e. approximately from 37 to 49 mph) and by-passes of certain urban areas (e. g. Živinice, Kladanj, Olovo, Semizovac) as well as new road in the area of the ascent to Nišići. The foreseen road recostruction will result in a significant increase of the road's seafty as well as decrease of time and costs of its usage. The draft project is devided into several parts, i. e. Draft Project of the A-Road M-18 Tuzla–Sarajevo Reconstruction Completed
On 20 November there was an announcement of the results of an international design contest in Belgrade for the Conceptual traffic, civil engineering and technical, and urban planning solution of the fork junction “Radnička” at the location of adjoining the internal major six-lane road from the direction of Novi Beograd over the bridge on Sava river (in construction).
31 companies worldwide applied to this international design contest and 9 authorship groups submitted their design solutions. The design contest was published with the intention that the city of Belgrade find the best solution to connect the new bridge over the river Sava, which is being built on the basis of the solution of company Ponting from Maribor that was awarded as the best one, on one of the most exposed points regarding traffic in this city of two million people.
The city of Belgrade has not yet found an appropriate solution to this problem, therefore it has decided to organise an international design contest. Nine solutions were submitted.
A committee of renowned experts announced the best solutions to be that of the companies Ponting d.o.o. and Lineal d.o.o. from Maribor, which was designed by Viktor Markelj, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Samo Peter Medved, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, dr. Peter Gabrijelčič, Robert Lesničar, and Dušan Rožič, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, and that of company “Hidropromet – saobračaj” from Belgrade.
The committee awarded two enlarged second-place prizes and an enlarged third-place prize, whereas the first prize was not awarded. The conclusion of the committee pertains to the decision that the project be continued according to the road solutions of the Slovenian authors, whereas the connection of the foreseen tram be continued according to the solutions of designers from Belgrade.
It should be stressed that the solution of the Slovenian designers did not handle solutions for the tram, since this was not recognised as a requirement of the design contest.
After the bridge crossing the river Sava at Ada Ciganlija and after the bridge crossing the Danube in Novi Sad with a tunnel under the fort Petrovaradinska trdnjava, this project solution of the fork junction “Radnička”, worth around €50 million, has been the third major victory of the Slovenian civil engineering in the south-west Balkans in the past years.
